The Michigan State University India Council, a non-profit organization, is affiliated with the Asian Studies Center and International Studies and Programs at the Michigan State University. Mission and PurposeThe MSU India Council was established on August 7, 1989 as an endowment at the University. MembershipMembership is open to individuals, with interest in India, in furthering the mission and purpose of the India Council subject to approval of the Advisory Board. Advisory BoardThe India Council is administered as an MSU-related council thorough the University's Asian Studies Center. It is directed by an Advisory Board of Directors headed by a Chairperson.
