Midwest Conference on Asian Affairs Homepage

For more than fifty years, the Midwest Conference on Asian Affairs (MCAA) has provided a forum for scholars and teachers of Asian Studies in the Midwest to gather and exchange knowledge about the history and cultures of Asia. Its mission is to encourage Asian Studies and promote increased understanding of Asia and its peoples. The MCAA is a regional conference of the Association For Asian StudiesOpens in new window. Its annual meeting is held each fall at a college or university in the Midwest, and features panels and roundtables at which faculty and graduate students present and discuss new research and pedagogical tools. It also sponsors the online journal Studies On AsiaOpens in new window, featuring scholarly articles in Asian Studies.
